CENTRAL RAY FIXTURES \ The following garqes will be played this week-end by the Central Bay of Plenty Hockey Association: Saturday, Nepia Hona Shield: Huimai (holders) v Paroa (challengers! at 1 p.m., at Te Telco. Sunday, Pokai Shield: Riverslea (holders) v Central Matatua (challengers) at Edgecumbe 1 p.m. Wilson Cup: Te Teko (holders) v Central Matatua (challengers) at Te Teko 2.30 p.m.

INDOOR BOWLING TOURNAMENT

Forty-eight teams will be competing in the first tournament arranged by the newly-formed Bay of Plenty Indoor Bowling Club of New Zealand Inc. Whakatane SubAssociation, which is being held in the Winter Show Buildings tomorrow. Judging by the skill shown at club matches, this tournament should be of a very high standard and competition will be strong.
