Coming Dairy Season Should Be Successful
Mild autumn weather, with plentiful autumn-saved pasture, and with dry winter weather portend a successful coming dairy season in the Bay of Plenty. The warm rain of the last week is a further help.
The feed supply in the Bay is reported to be much better than average.
Growing popularity of electric fencing has helped towards the saving of autumn pasture. The feeding of calves through tubes has been experimented with in this district and its results are awaited with interest.
