Three Whakatane And Rangitaiki Players In Bay School Team
Three players /from Whakatane ? nd three from the Rangitaiki have been chosen in the Bay of Plenty Primary Schools’ Rugby team to play Thames Valley primary schools at Whakatane early next month. Positions in the team have not been announced but the 20 players selected after the Bay primary schools’ annual tournament at Opotiki last week are:—
Savage, Humble, Barr (Whakatane), Heath, Goodfellow, Heta (Rangitaiki), Samuels, Cristie, Edwards, Fisher (Opotiki), Heretaunga, Kahn (Rotorua), Moses, Bevon, Ahomiro, Reid (Te Puke), Borrell, Kiwi, Leaf, Cameron (Tauranga).
