Awakeri Has 15-9 Win Over Opotiki In Badminton Match
A wakeri defeated Opotiki 15 games to nine in an inter-club badminton match played at Opotiki. Much of the winner’s success came from a strong women’s team but Opotiki were stronger in the men’s singles section. Awakeri showed more practised combination in all the doubles games, although most of their wins were gained only after well-con-tested rallies.
