TE Teko W.D.F.F. Has Social Afternoon

The monthly meeting of the Te Teko Women’s Division of Federated Farmers, held on August 10, took the form of a social afternoon with competitions, Mrs A. Foote being the winner of mrst points. Mrs W. Hutton thanked members for their gift presented to her. Birthday cards were received by Mesdames Hendl, Harty, Gardner, Eivers and Jamieson. The mystery parcel was won by Miss Pryor. Competition results:—

Best bloom, Mrs R. Hall 1, Mrs C. Hallett 2; fruit, Mrs Hallett 1, Mrs R. Harty 2; vegetable, Mrs Harty 1, Mrs W. Balfour 2. Afternoon tea was served by Mesdames A. Foote and G. McDonald as hostesses.
