Keen Competition At Stock Sale
Dalgety and Co, Ltd., Opotiki, report having held their fortnightly stock sale on Thursday when there was a very small yarding of beef and a medium yarding of boner cattle. Competition on all classes was keen and an excellent sale resulted. Realisations were:—
Medium Jersey cows, £7 9s to £7 14s; heavy boner cows, £6 to £6 12s 6d; medium boner cows, £5 9s to £5 18s; light boner cows, £4 15s to £5; potter bulls according to weight, £6 ss.
