Indoor Bowling

WHAKATANE CENTRE TO BE FORMED At a meeting in the St John Hall on Tuesday night a move is to be-made to form an indoor bowling centre at Whakatane. During the last few months interest in the sport has increased steadily in the district and the decision to form a centre was made this week when it was stated that 36 teams were competing in a tournament at present being held each week-end.
