People Would Live Longer If Traffic Rules Were Observed

The traffic inspector, Mr M. C. Bridge, gave a very interesting and explanatory address on traffic rules, regulations, and the necessity of observing road courtesy, to the monthly meeting of the Thornton Young Farmers’ Club. Numerous questions were answered during the lecture and demonstration.

The general opinion was that if most people would only observe traffic regulations they would - no doubt live longer.

General business was dealt with and arrangements made to take part in the national Y.F.C. miniature rifle competition.
