Sunday Film For Tauranga
Permission was granted, at the monthly meeting of the Tauranga Borough Council, for. the screening of films on one Sunday evening at Tauranga .in the near future, the proceeds to assist towards the Auckland City Mission appeal for funds for the Old Folks Centre. The Whakatane Borough Council has been asked for similar permission to be granted for the screening of a film at Whakatane one Sunday evening, proceeds to go towards the same appeal, but is still considering the proposal. The Whakatane Ministers’ Association has objected to the suggestion.
