British Isles Like North Rugby Better
Since they began the North Island section of their tour, the British Isles Rugby team has encountered generally much more open football than in the South Island. This has also been much to its liking. The South Island record was six wins, three losses, and a draw with 170 points for and 85 against. In seven matches in the North Island, only one —the. third test—has been lost* and 145 points have been aggregated with only 34 against. The total of 315 points for and 109 against is much better than that of the 1930 side, which had 420 for and 205 against for 21 game?, but does not compare with the record of the 1937 Springboks. They amassed 411 points in 17 games with 104 against.
