PRACTICE FOR B GRADE MEN’S TEAM
A strong men’s B grade team has been selected to represent Central Bay of Plenty against Opotiki at Opotiki on July 22. The team will practice at Edgecumbe at 2.15 p.m. on Saturday. Two women’s games set down for Saturday against Waikato have been cancelled because of the inability of Waikato teams to travel. The men’s team selected:—

SUNDAY’S COMPETITION GAMES
Women’s games will commence at 1 p.m. and men’s games at 2.15 p.m. in competition hockey matches to be played in the Central Bay of Plenty Association’s area on Sunday:—
A Grade: Women: Rovers v Apanui at Whakatane, Mrs Grey and Learning; ,Te Teko v Poroporo at Poroporo, Henderson and Edwards; Matata bye. Men: Riverslea v Poroporo at Poroporo, Henderson and Edwards; Whakatane v Apanui at Whakatane, Mrs Grey and Learning; Rovers v Stars 1 p.m. at Edgecumbe, friendly game; A’wakeri a bye. B Grade: Women: Te Teko v Blues at Otakiri, Mackrell and Crook; Huimai v Poroporo at Te Teko, Green and Revell; Taneatua v Paroa at Paroa, Grant and Keriti; Stars v Onepu at Onepu, Barton and Tihi. Men: Te Teko v Blues at Otakiri, Mackrell and Crook; Huimai v Whakatane at Te Teko, ’Green and Revell; Taneatua v Rangers at Edgecumbe, Civil and Marx.
