Large Bench Of Buyers Attend Te Teko Sale
The fortnightly sale held at Te Teko by the N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., attracted a large bench of buyers of local and outside buyers. This was largely due to the* offering of fat station bullocks and a well grown lijne of 18 months P.A. steers, which were included with the usual dairy, fat and boner offering.
The bidding was keen throughout and prices realised were well in accordance with those prevailing in other districts. Forward dairy offerings were well competed for but backward heifers elicited little keenness. Prices realised: —
Fat Hereford and P.A. bullocks, £lB to £22; fat Hereford cows, £l4; 18 months P.A. steers, £ls ss; dairy heifers, £l2 to £l7; Jersey fats, £7 to £9 15s; boners, £4 15s to £6 15s; empty 2-year Jersey heifers, £5 15s to £6 10s.
