Whakatane Archery Club Into Recess For Two Months

For a period of two months the Whakatane Archery Club will be in recess, but from September members will be practising in earnest for their attempt to retain the Standard Rose Bowl, next shot for, at Whakatane in November. Otakiri will be a new club on the line then and by their vastly improved scores will be a force to reckon with.

Whakatane’s Field Captain, Mr J. Dahl, was to be congratulated on the very able way he arranged and conducted the novelty shoots on Saturday, which helped to make the day the success it was.
