UNICEF Appeal For Children Commences
Widespread support is already promised for the United Nations Appeal for Children, which was opened by a national broadcast last night and the chairman of the Dominion Executive of the Aopeal, Mr Chas. S. Falconbr, today expressed his confidence that the r>eople of New Zealand could ana would reach the target figure of £500,000. The 1950 United Nations Appeal for Children is being organised throughout New Zealand by local committees, which have been set up or are now being set up for the purpose.
