OLYMPICS AND PAROA A

DRAW

A very strong defence by Paroa A kept the score down in the main basketball match between Olympics and Paroa A at Whakatane on Saturday, which respited in an 8-all draw. While both teams had their share of the ball the Olympics attack was very much sharper but was blunted by some fine defensive play. The result of the draw now keeps these two teams even in front in the senior competition.* All games were fast and played under particularly fine conditions before a fair crowd. Results:—
