Saturday’s Referees J. Hyland will referee the A representative rugby match between Rangitaiki and Galatea at Te Teko on Saturday. The B game between teams representing the same two unions will be controlled by B. Smith. The Bay Port
The port for the Bay of Plenty will go to Tauranga. That is, ue ccrdmg to the manager of the State forestmill at Rotorua, Mr J. W. Syme. He said there was no doubt about this fact, when he interviewed a delegation from the Tauranga Haroour Board.
Rangitaiki Rugby At the end of the second round Edgecumbe lead Te Teko by one point in the senior Rangitaiki Rugby competition. Edgecumbe now have ten points, Te Teko nine, Thornton four and Matata one. In the junior competition Edgecumbe are now well ahead with 12 points. The nearest is Otakiri with eight, Matata four and Te Teko with nothing.
