Good Sale Held At Te Teko
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. Ltd., report having held their fortnightly sale at Tc Teko saleyards. The sale attracted a good yarding of both fat and boner cows which were keenly competed for by local butchers and works buyers. A small yarding of springing heifers and dairy cows which were also included in the offering met a ready demand. Prices realised:—
Dairy heifers, £l2 to £l7; dairy cows, £ll to £2l; fat cows, £7 5s to ill; boner cows, £4 to £7.
