Young Farmers See Films

Two interesting films on farming was received with wide attention when they were screened by the consulting officer of the New Zealand Dairy Beard at Whakatane, Mr W. H. Mandeno, to the monthly meeting of the Thornton Young Farmers’ Club. The films, “British Breeds of Livestock” and “Efficient Machine Milking,” gave an interesting insight to many modem farming methods. Arrangements for the young farmers’ clubs court competition at the Whakatane winter show were finalised.
