Deal With Own Troubles
“I believe that you should deal with your troubles yourselves and in that way you will solve your problems,” said the , Minister of Lands and Maori Affairs, Mr Corbett, speaking at a meeting of Taranaki Maori tribes.
“I believe that the small man has as much right to voice his opinion as the big man,” said the Minister. “The Maori people should strive to work in harmony and should not be fighting among themselves. You should be able to settle the little troubles yourselves.’ f
