Baptist Development Work In Bay District
Reference to the development of Baptist work at Whakatane and in other centres throughout the Bay of Plenty was made in the report presented by the secretary, the Rev, G. N. Garlick, to the annual meeting of the -Baptist Church Union, South Auckland Auxiliary, held at Tauranga. Preparations, it was stated, were now well in hand for the development of a camp site at Lake Karapiro. Officers elected:—
President, Rev. F. -H. Carter; pre-sident-elect, Mr J. Enwright; secretary, Rev. T. R. Page; assistant secretary, Rev. F. A. Parry; treasurer, Mr E.- McGregor; minute secretary, Mr K. Moore; convenor of missionary committee, Rev. R. W. Grigg; convenor of home missions committee, Mr J. Enwright; registrar of isolated Baptists, Mr Moore; youth convenor, Mr K. M. Edridge; public questions committee convenor, Rev. C. W. Duncum; projection secretary, Mr A. Molloy.
