Birthday Party At Otakiri

A brightly decorated hall greeted a large gathering of friends and relations who attended the 21st birthday party of Miss Dawn Armstrong in the Otakiri Hall. Music for dancing and community singing was supplied by Mr G. Henderson while Mr O. Lord was M.C. Songs were presented by Miss Armstrong and Miss J. Lockyer with the accompaniment played by Mrs Armstrong.

A beautiful cake was cut by the guest while Mr Armstrong presented his daughter with a large key. Dancing and games continued through the evening.

League Takings A total of £35 was taken at the Bay of Plenty-Waikato Rugby League Maori game at Ruatoki.
