No Licence
A fine of ss, costs 17s, was imposed on Kapungs Harawira (Mr Buddie) cartage contractor, for aiding and abetting the driving of a motor vehicle by a person who was not the holder of a driver’s licence by Mr E. L. Walton, S.M., in the Whakatane Magistrate’s Court. The driver, Rongo Hona, carpenter, fined £5, costs 21s, on one charge of dangerous driving and ss, costs 10s, for driving a motor vehicle when he was not the holder of a driver’s licence.
