Fixtures Cancelled
Because of wet weather two sporting fixtures were cancelled in the district during the week-end. On Saturday the Domain Courts proved to be too wet for play and the Whakatane Basketball competitions were cancelled. On Monday the Central Bay of Plenty Hockey Association’s tournament a‘ Edgecumbe was cancelled because of rain.
