Question: What Certified class of seed should I buy? Answer: If you are interested only in pasture production you need buy only Certified Permanent Pasture (PP) or Standard (same class) seed. It is cheaper than Certified Mother and Pedigree and is generally just as suitable for espermanent pasture regrazing. Some Certified of this class may have and some ci this could possibly be, but most necessarily is, not quite as good as that Certified by plot test. Comparisons have shown that this possible variation is barely worthy of consideration. Had any great variation been found here some modification of nomenclature would have been adopted for UV and plot-tested seed.
