LADDER COMPETITIONS START
Despite bad weather, members of the Whakatane Table Tennis Club turned out in force on Wednesday for the regular weekly club games. Men’s and women's ladders were drawn up, and with open challenges still available many positions were changed. A knockout handicap tournament was played, the men’s section being won by R. • Civil and the women’s by Miss H. Joyce-:
