Edgecumbe W.I. To Join Heritage
A decision to join the Heritage movement was reached at the monthly meeting of the Edgecumbe Women’s Institute. The meeting was attended by Mrs H. Woolett, Putaruru, a former member. A toy making demonstration was given by Mrs V. Peck.
Competition results:— Mother-day spray, Mrs Watson 1 Mrs Irving 2, Mrs Blake 3; ginger bread, Mrs Black 1, Mrs Martin 2 Mrs 3; onions, Mrs Crang 1, Mrs Martin 2. Mrs Watson 3; flowers, Mrs Watson 1, Mrs Andrews 2, Mrs Martin 3; chrysanthemums, Mrs Blake 1, Mrs Andrews 2, Mrs Blair 3.
