Glasses Stolen From Hotel

One of the main problems at Whakatane hotels is the breakage from glasses and the loss through them being taken from the bars. During the past few weeks at one hotel the loss through glasses being stolen has been increasing until last Saturday the number reached 57 taken from the public bar and 29 from the private.

The manager said yesterday that unless the stealing of glasses stopped prosecutions would follow.
