Large Yarding At Fortnightly Sale
There was a large yarding of good conditioned and boner Jersey cows at the fortnightly Opotiki sale of Dalgety and Co. Ltd. Competition was particularly keen and an excellent sale resulted. Realisations were:—
Prime heavy Jersey cows, £lO 4s to £ll 10s; prime Jersey cows, £8 iss to £9 15s; heavy Jersey cows, £8 2s 6d to £8 17s 6d; heavy boners, £7 10s to £8 5s 6d; medium boners, £7 to £7 7s 6d; light boners, £5 10s to £6 ss; potter bulls, according to weight, £6 to £9. i
