League Of Mothers & Nurses Attend Church Parades

On Sunday morning members of the Whakatane League of Mothers held their annual Church parade in the Presbyterian Church, Whakatane. The Church was also the venue of the Registered Nurses’ Association annual parade held in the evening. During the social hour, which followed the evening service, Dr J. D. Salmond, Youth Director for New Zealand Presbyterian Churches, spoke about the new life movement and later interviewed promising students for the ministry.
