Two Cars Collide: Extensively Damaged

Although nobody was injured two cars, which collided on the Domain Road-Commerce Street intersection, Whakatane, at about 7.45 Saturday night were both extensively damaged. One car driven by Mr H. Jackson, Whakatane, was turning out of Commerce Street in to Domain Road when it collided with the other car driven by Miss F. x Fisher, also of Whakatane. Miss Fisher was proceeding along- Domain Road prior to turning into Commerce Street.

Unusual point about the accident is that the left hand mudguard of both vehicles appear to have been the main point of contact.
