New Table Tennis Club Is Formed

The opening of the new Whakatane Table Tennis Club on Wednesday was a successful evening with a number of very keen players present. Unfortunately there were only two tables available, but all members played several games of both singles and doubles. A short meeting was held at the conclusion of play, and officers elected were:—

Secretary, Mr J. Snodgrass; committee, Miss Joyce, Mrs Beamish, Messrs G. Brassey, R. Civil, Hay and Ringer.
