CODE GETS UNDER WAY ON SATURDAY
To mark the opening of the 1950 Rugby League season, a seven-a-side tournament was held on the Ruatoki Domain on Saturday, resulting in a win for Ruatoki. During the evening a silver cup, which was donated by the Waimana supporters of the code was presented to the winning team. This season there will be four senior teams for the competition. Draw for Saturday: Ruatoki West v Waimana, Tumatauenga v Ruatoki.
