Eradication of TB. In N.Z. Dairy Herds

The eradication of tuberculosis from dairy herds is now being concentrated on by many overseas countries th§ chairman of the New Zealand Dairy Board, Mr W. Hale, told a Bay of Plenty Ward Conference at Whakatane. He said that the New' Zealand dairy industry would have to give some early consideration to finally clearing up the small amount of tuberculosis, which still existed in some herds. The Board could not afford to neglect taking any steps which will assist in keeping the country’s produce to the forefront of quality on the most competitive basis.
