Miss Jean Martin, who has been working in the South Island for some months, has now returned to Whakatane.
Mr D. C. Stevens', who has been editor and advertising manager of the Beacon for the past three years, has resigned. His association with the paper officially terminated yesterday, though he has been on leave for the past few weeks.
