New Selection Of Books Added To Public Library
A wide selection of new books were added to the Whakatane Publib Library last month. All were( fiction byt ranged from the classic of Flaubert’s “Madame Bovary” to the modern war story of P. E. Bates’ “Fair Stood the Wind for France.” ■ The books, added were:— Pride of the South by E. Seifert; From Claudia to David, R. Frankau; The Fool Beloved, J. Farnol; Mothering Sunday, N. Steatfield; Madame Bovary, G. Flaubert; Flowers on the Grass, M. Dickens; The Big Sky, A. B. Guthrie; Fair Stood the Wind for France, P. E. Bates; Tody Shad, Taffrail; Castle in the Swamp, E. Marshall; The Flail and the Fish, F. Gerard; The Lady on Platform One, L. Meynell; Corner of Heaven, K. Norris; Dust in Sunlight, C. Gaskin; Award of Custody, C. Leslie.
