Bay Still Short Of Galvanised Piping

The seriousness of the galvanised piping shortage throughout New Zealand has affected Bay of Plenty farmers where, according to inquiries made by Federated Farmers, the present position is very serious. At present it is reported that the district requires 200,000 feet of piping.

“Bay agents advise that they have not received more than an odd bundle 3f piping for some months. The position is made more serious because of the prolonged dry weather.”
