Pleasant Social Evening
Following the Light Horse Club's gymkhana on Saturday officials, helpers and their wives foregathered at a pleasant social evening organised by the Club secretary, Mr V. Bell, at the home of Mr and Mrs Ron Gordon, McGarvey’s road. Mrs A. Stewart and Mrs Gordon were in constant demand at the piano for the accompaniments to spirited community singing, as well as providing dance music, ably assisted by Mr H. Coker with his saxophone. Supper was informal and thoroughly enjoyable.
