Site Selected For School At Ohope

Repeated representations have been made to the Auckland Education Board for the establishment of a separate school at Ohope, Mr L. D. Lovelock told Whakatane householders on Wednesday night. Latest advice he said was that approval had. now been received from the Maori Affairs Department agreeing to the placing of buildings on the Maori Reserve. (Commonly referred to as the Domain). The board’s architect is making arrangements for the early erection of the buildings.
