Frontiersmen Officers Elected

Exercising their democratic constitution, the Legion of Frontiersmen at the annual meeting, held last week, elected the officers for the ensuing year. In this body, even the Commanding Officer retires annually and new officers are elected.

The meeting concluded early and members of the Whakatane Volunteer Fire Brigade and St John Ambulance Brigade were the Frontiersmen’s guests at a social evening. Officers elected:—

Captain, H. Mole, 0.C.; Lieut. C. Bathe Adjutant; Sgt. ' Major F. Comer; Staff Sgt. C. Coates, Quartermaster.
