Gisborne-Taneatua Sealed Highway
Hopes that a long-range polity would be embarked upon to eventually provide a sealed highway between Gisborne and Taneatua were expressed at the quarterly meeting of the Gisborne and East Coast Regional Planning Council. It was also stated that work was proceeding steadily on the highway •through the Waioeka Gorge.
