evening of the Whakatane branch of the Labour Party held in the ’Yemen’s Institute Hall, last week, resulted in ■ v.y.? for Mrs Barrcw-
rn"n. Booby prize to Beamish. Winner of the men’s section was Mr Knowles and. the booby went W Mr Pledger. The women’s committee supplied supper at the conclusion cf a pleasant evening.
