Pre-Wedding Party At Edgecumbe

The provision that every woman guest must bring along her favourite recipe gave Miss Mae Black the opportunity to start a cookery book at a pre-wedding party in her honour held at the home of Mrs R. Ferguson, Edgecumbe, assisted by Mrs R. Burgess, on Wednesday night. There was a large gathering. Games and items were given through the evening. Miss Black, who is soon to marry Mr J. Barr, Awakeri, received many useful gifts.
