Taneatua Croquet Club Retains Trophy
Taneatua Croquet Club has been Very successful in croquet matches played this year. At the beginning of the season a challenge was made to Opotiki, who were holding the gouth Auckland B Cup, and Taneatua succeded in bringing it home. Since then Opotiki have challenged twice unsuccessfully. The results of the last challenge played at Taneatua were, Taneatua names mentioned first:— Morning: Mesctemes Hill and Hayward 26 beat Dane and Hollard 4, Mesdames Bennett and Grace 17 lost to Webb and McGregor 26. Afternoon: Mesdames Hill and Hayward, 17 lost to Dane & Hollard 26, Mesdames Bennett and Grace 26 <beat Webb and McGregor 22.
