Mrs L. Martin offered to pack this month’s link parcel to send overseas at thp annual meeting of the Edgecumbe Women’s Institute .presided over by Mrs R. Ferguson. The finances of the Club were reported to be in a healthy position. Officers elected:—

Burgess; competition secretary, Mrs D. G. Hawkins; social secretary, Mrs G. Pearce; librarian, Mrs J. Sims; committee, Mesdames L. Martin, A. Andrews, C. Francis, C. Clarke, T. Lichfield, J. Barnes, A. Gibson, T. Blair*. Competition results: Best flower, Mrs H. M. Carter 1, Mrs Sims 2, Mrs Martin and L. Wilson 3 equal; talent, Mrs A. Blake 1, Mrs Martin 2, Mrs K.
