Most Successful Member of Matata W.I. Was Mrs Taylor

The total points prize for the year was won by Mrsjp. Taylor, who dlso won the prizes for sewing, cookery, best monthly flower and vegetable, it was reported to the monthly meeting of the Matata Women s Institute. The prize for decorative work went to Mrs H. Laugeson. A trophy was presented to Mrs J. Dredge, who was the only unplaced member.

Mrs H. Withy gave a talk on the aims of the Institute, and also voiced the appreciation of the members to Mrs R. Withy, who has been a willing and able president for fdur years.
