The Musician Played Billiards
One of the world’s greatest musicians, Mozart, was a billiards addict, and found inspiration in the game. It has been said of him that some of his most fruitful hours were those spent alone at the billiard table—with a notebook close at hand. Many instances have been recorded of his stopping in the middle of a game to take notes, or humming the theme of a new composition whilst he plied his cue.
