Vegetables Assist Nukuhou W.I. Funds

Mesdames W.'McGillivray and W. Macdonald were presented with shoulder sprays by Mrs C. Wylde in appreciation of their work during the year at the monthly meeting of the Nukuhou North Women’s Institute. A collection of vegetables was donated to the Institute by Mrs F. Englebretson, £1 being raised.

Competition results:— Single flower, Mrs T. Doran 1, Mrs Macdonald 2, Mrs M. King 3; multiple bloom, Mrs T. Croft 1, Mrs King 2, Mrs R. Bell 3; vegetable, Mrs Grant 1, Mrs King 2, Mrs R. Sinclair 3; sugar bag article, Mrs Doran 1, Mrs C. Menzies 2; collection vegetables, Mrs Englebretson 1, Mrs Doran 2, Mrs. R. Robinson 3.
