Muttonbirders Ready To Migrate

Arrangements are almost complete for the 1950 migration to the muttonbird islands south of New Zealand. If the weather is favourable the Government motor vessel Wairau will sail from Bluff for the islands this week. For about two and a-half months the birders will stay on the lonely islands returning with their catch about May 25.
