Entertaining Circus At Whakatane
Thrilling horse events, that in--cluded some spectacular riding especially by the outstanding horsewoman, Bobbie Duncan, kept a fair but enthusiastic crowd entertained at Barton’s International Circus when it played a one night session at Whakatane on Monday. Fast cracking humour by crazy clowns' provided much of the amusement. Tight rope balancing, acrobats, monkey derby and a stockwhip cracking exhibition were among the many acts that helped to keep the show moving with a swing. Apart from the show in the big tent numerous sideshows kept a crowd amused outside.
