Frosts & Earthquake
Frosts were experienced in many parts of the Bay of Plenty this morning. At Whakatane temperatures dropped yesterday morning and last night was about the coldest this year. There was a frost in the town and on low lying areas in the country. While many people shivered from the cold others felt a brief but sharp earthquake at about 4.45 a.*m. today.
